Things To Do

Raleigh is one of those cities that has everything you can think of: great restaurants of every cuisine, all sorts of amusements, and wonderful parks and outdoor spaces (though it will be chilly in February). Here are our recommendations:
- Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral: Seat of the diocese and magnificently beautiful.
- Beow’s Books and Brews: Quiet and fun literary-inspired cafe. Great place to relax and order Tolkien-themed sandwiches.
- North Carolina Museum of Art: One of the best things we’re known for, it’s at the top of every travel guide for Raleigh.
- In His Name Catholic Store: Faithful come from all around NC for their books, art, and sacramentals. Rachel worked here.
- Alpaca Peruvian Chicken: Rachel raves about Alpaca nonstop.
- Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church: Hosts a 24-hour Adoration chapel that Max and Rachel frequent.
- North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences: Explore the whole of our state’s natural wonder in one spot! Impressive collection of dinosaur and whale skeletons.
- Frankie’s Fun Park: Go karts, laser tag, arcade, and bumper cars.
